Our Spring 2020 Half Marathon Training group will be our first group where participants have the option of training together for a destination race! If you haven't heard of Flying Pig yet, you are in for a treat. It's one big giant party! Training group participants have the option of training with us for the Flying Pig Half Marathon in Cincinnati on Sunday 5/3/20 or another half marathon of their choice.
Most of the information that you need is likely below however we will also be hosting 2 free informational sessions (Saturday 1/4 at 9am & Thursday 1/16 at 6:30pm) if you have questions or would like a more in-depth overview of our upcoming training programs.
This Spring 2020 Half Marathon Training Program will begin the week of February 3rd, 2020 with the kick-off session taking place on Wednesday, February 5th at 6pm. Please note that we will not be running together that first night.
This program offers 2 times a week group runs:
- Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm at Fleet Feet
- Sunday mornings at 8am at the Walkway over the Hudson
This program will have 2 tracks:
- "Finish" for those who simply wish to complete a Half Marathon without a specific time goal
- "Fast" for those who wish to complete a Half Marathon and have a specific time goal in mind (it is recommended that you will have completed at least 2 half marathons before joining this track)
Included with the program:

It is our primary goal for you to complete the half marathon training program successfully without any injuries. As a general guideline, by the start of the program you should be able to run 4-5 miles at a time relatively comfortably and you would ideally have a weekly base of 15ish or more miles.
Training Program Costs are $150*
Early Bird (sign-up before 12/31): $135*
Fleet Feet Training Group Alumni Cost: $125*
*Please note that race fees and travel arrangements for the race are completely separate from program training costs and you will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements. Flying Pig provides a list of partner hotels with discounted group rates.
Strength Training Subscription: $15 a month to be paid separately and can be canceled at anytime
